Hmmm.....this is new and interesting...
Where to begin....
Today - spent morning looking for a job (via newspaper & monster.com). At this rate I may be working at a "may i take your order" type of place. Frustrating to say the least!!
Curse that Jack Larson for having a heart attack and leaving us girls to the big corporate monster!! I can't complain to much....after all....they were considerate enough to move us to a single story office building w/parking for me right outside my office door, gave me off with out question any and every time, allowed me to work from home when I no longer could drive, on my terms and the hours that I chose. Were very supportive post surgery and recovery. But travel has changed soo much. More and more are booking directly w/internet. Brick and mortar type of agencies are less and less needed.
I miss planning group gambling junkets, hosting trips. Most of all, I miss the people that I worked with!!
Speaking of missing people that I work with.....got a call from Diane today. It was great hearing from her!! Her and I sat next to each other at our Brookfield office for many years. We were always laughing. Never once did we argue! Even after our move to the airport we continued to be silly and have fun!
